Appointment System during COVID

With the ongoing Corona outbreak, we continue to offer telephone consultations, some of which are now available to book online. Chronic disease management reviews (Asthma, COPD, Diabetes) are currently being managed by our patient’s completing an on-line questionnaire (you need to be registered for online services to do this*) and a subsequent ‘phone call from a clinician if required. We do now also have the facility to offer limited online/video consultations where this is appropriate and agreeable to both parties.

No patient should present at the surgery to be seen without first having spoken to a member of the surgery team to confirm that they are well enough to do so.

Separate arrangements have been made for postnatal checks, baby and childhood immunizations and those that need warfarin monitoring. The clinician caring for you will advise on the procedure to be followed so that patients and staff can be reassured that everyone’s safety is our top priority.

The national advice remains that any patient with a fever or new cough should use Online 111 via: or telephone 111 before contacting the surgery.

We have made some general adjustments to our appointment system in line with national guidance; for further information click here: /practice_news/appointments-system/
