Bassett Road Surgery E-Newsletter

Our bi-annual newsletter is available both at our Reception and also in our Newsletter Section (see right) of our website.  If you would prefer, however, we are now able to send out copies of our practice newsletter.  If you would like to take advantage of this new service, please click on the 'Sign up for Email Newsletter' box at the bottom of our Home page.  Completion of this form will also allow us to update your email and mobile telephone number contact details as these are requested.

 

Electronic Prescription Service (EPS)

The practice went live with the EPS service in the summer of 2016 which enables GPs and Nurse Prescribers to send prescriptions electronically to a dispenser (such as a pharmacy) of the patient's choice. GP Registrars from August 2016

We are delighted to welcome our new intake of GP Registrars, having bid a fond farewell to Dr Jamie Buxton who has now qualified and moved to pastures new.  Dr Abi Taylor remains with us for a further year on a part-time basis.  Our new Registrars and their respective GP Trainers are:

  • Dr Beniamin Savu here for 15 months (Dr Henderson)
  • Dr Rajpreet Kalsi here for 12 months (Dr Stewart)
  • Dr Samantha Robotham here for 6 months from Feb 2017 (Dr Longstaff) 

 

The Accessible Information Standard

CQC Inspection

Friends & Family Test (FFT)

We want you to have the best possible experience of care.  The NHS Friends & Family Test is a way of gathering your feedback, so we can continually review our service.  It is based on one simple question, "How likely are you to recommend our GP Practice to Friends & Family if they needed similar care or treatment?"
